Here Is What They Aren't Telling You About 5G

If you weren't in the know, 5G is a new mobile internet technology standard that drastically increases performance and reliability of cellular internet.

It's the planned successor for the very successful 4G standard that many of us are using today.

5G is the future. It was created by China via the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) and was designed to allow data consumption and monitoring to not just improve our lives, but to govern our decision making towards a progressive new future. That sounds great, until you dive deeper.

5G is a new mobile internet technology standard that drastically increases performance and reliability of cellular internet.

So that's what we did. We dove deeper. So deep in fact that we uncovered the truth about 5G. Despite the many performance and monitoring benefits of the new platform, the real problem is that the technology was heavily designed by Big Battery.

The more we researched the issue, the more we found that 5G is designed to encourage our cultures to stream more content in more places, causing our various devices to consume more energy.

This leads to wearing out batteries and will eventually cause your battery to need to replaced sooner than originally intended. On top of that, it causes our precious lithium resources to run dry sooner, leading to sharp increase in lithium prices, which leads to higher battery prices.

As of right now, it's not clear what the recommended path forward is. However, it's safe to say that 5G may not be as great as it was originally designed to be. If it was our choice, we would advise the council to postpone rollouts of this new technology until we can ensure the performance and monitoring upgrades are solved, or, until we have new battery technology.

We'll continue to dive deeper into this.
